The Diploma in Economics for Sustainable Development (DEEDS) begins this September, organized by by the Bolivian Private University (UPB), with academic support from SDSN Bolivia and UN-Habitat. The diploma course covers topics related to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda, agreed by the 193 countries that make up the General Assembly of the United Nations (UN) in 2015; which aims at a world without poverty, access to all basic services, peaceful coexistence and care for the planet.

EThe program presents and discusses the concepts, data and tools that will equip participants to contribute to the achievement of the SDGs. The approach is highly practical, designed to identify and analyze the most important obstacles to sustainable development in Bolivia at the national and subnational levels.
